Babs, Babies and the Good Life - Pamela M.
On November 28th, 2024, Thanksgiving Day, our rescue organization was made aware of a stray, pregnant dog who had been seen roaming a high traffic area in the city of Graham for weeks. We sprung into action and, with the help of a Good Samaritan in the area, the dog was safely secured. Babs was rushed to a veterinary partner location where x-rays revealed she was due to give birth to TEN puppies in a matter of days! She was settled into one of our dedicated foster homes and, exactly a week later, the Tiny Toons were born! We were so relieved to have brought her to safety just in time for her babies to greet the world. Had she not been rescued, the majority of the puppies would not have survived being born outside and Babs would have suffered complications during labor. The generous donation we received from FLOW Subaru of Burlington helped us cover the cost of the entire family's spay/neuter surgeries, vaccines and microchips, allowing us to responsibly adopt the dogs into deserving homes! Babs and Plucky recently attended the check presentation ceremony at the dealership and we were so happy to introduce them to the team of Good Humans who helped save their lives! On behalf of Babs, Banjo, Dizzy, Elmyra, Fifi, Hamton, Marcia, Montana Max, Shirley, Sweetie and Plucky...THANK YOU, FLOW SUBARU OF BURLINGTON! Your generous donations to our rescue, year after year, help us continue to save the lives of animals in need every day and, for that, we are so very grateful!
Growing a Greener Community - Georgette H.
At Flow Subaru of Burlington, we do more than sell cars. We’re also deeply committed to serving our community both now and for future generations to come. This was our first year partnering with the Arbor Day Foundation, as part of the Subaru Loves the Earth initiative, whose mission is to distribute 100,000 trees to communities across the country. We were honored to play a small role in this by giving out one hundred trees to our Subaru customers. Customers were able to reserve their trees in advance, choosing between four different young native trees, and everyone was so excited to receive their trees on pickup day! Thank you to all our customers who came out and participated and have planted their trees for a greener and healthier community!
Operation Warm: Flow Subaru of Burlington's Love to Help Parternship with Rays the Roof - Georgette H.
At Flow Subaru of Burlington, we’re proud to partner again this year with Rays with Roof for the Subaru Loves to Help Initiative. With coats provided by Project Warm, Flow Subaru and Rays the Roof teamed up to provide essential winter clothing to children in need in our community. By giving a warm coat to a child in need, we’re giving that child security, comfort, and greater confidence at home and at school. At Flow Subaru of Burlington, we’re about more than just selling cars. We believe in creating a positive impact on our community and we’re proud to be part of the Subaru Love Promise Community Commitment. We’re so grateful that we are able to serve our community this year and every year. Thanks to Rays the Roof and everyone and who came out in support of this mission.
Flow Subaru Cares - Janice L.
During a recent visit, we at Flow Subaru of Burlington learned of the passing of Ms. Lumpkin's husband when she came in for service. She had a hard time coming to the store because he had always taken care of the servicing of the family vehicles. She began to shed some tears explaining to Bryan, our Subaru Service Advisor, why she was having a difficult time prompting Bryan to tell us what was going on. We decided to perform her inspection at no charge, give her a complimentary car wash, and order a sympathy flower basket/card to be delivered to her home. It's during difficult times like this that small gestures can mean so much to someone going through a tough stretch. Our aim is always to make a difference through showing that we care about our customers.

It was a wonderful day and heartfelt thanks to Flow Subaru Burlington for joining the LLS mission to create a world without blood cancer.
Sharing the Love with Humane Society of Alamance County - Dajanae B.
At Flow Subaru of Burlington, our commitment to the community goes beyond just selling cars. We believe in making a tangible difference in the lives of our neighbors, both human and furry. Recently, as part of Subaru's Share the Love Event, we had the honor of presenting a check to the Humane Society of Alamance County. In the spirit of the Love Promise initiative, Flow Subaru of Burlington, alongside Subaru of America, proudly donated $12,658 to support the incredible work done by the Humane Society of Alamance County. This generous contribution will aid in providing care, shelter, and hope for countless animals in need.
Humane Society of Alamance County is Breaking Barriers! - Pamela M.
FLOW Subaru of Burlington has long supported our animal welfare organization and its long-standing programs offered to the community. In August of 2023, the HSAC launched Breaking Barriers, a new program aimed at building fences and breaking barriers for the dogs of Alamance County! This new initiative frees dogs from living life on restrictive tethers and gives them a safe space to run, play and further bond with their families. It also helps provide spay or neuter services to each fence recipient, as well as outdoor dog houses and straw. With a goal of building two fences a month at an average cost of $700 per fence, we've had to work diligently to raise funds in order to accomplish our mission. The donation received from FLOW Subaru of Burlington through Share The Love earlier this year made it possible for us to ensure several more deserving pups could be added to our fence building schedule! We are so very grateful to have the support from this amazing company who truly loves animals, encourages our efforts through all of our programs and gives back to the pet community, year after year. Breaking Barriers is building more than fences...we're building happy, healthy dogs! THANK YOU, FLOW SUBARU OF BURLINGTON!
Recent visit and subsequent purchase/lease - Chris W.
As a community member and advocate of making today and better place for tomorrow. I was very pleased to see the very obvious effort on the Flow Subaru team to make recycling easy and effortless. I was encouraged to notice that there was not just 1 recycling area rather, several. Well done FLOW Subaru of Burlington. YOU are making a difference.

At Flow Subaru of Burlington, we believe in more than just selling cars – we're dedicated to making a difference in our community. That's why we're excited to share our latest Love Promise story, showcasing our collaboration with Rays the Roof for the Subaru Love to Help initiative. Through this initiative, we teamed up with Rays the Roof to provide essential winter clothing items to those in need. Together, we distributed coats, socks, and shoes to individuals facing the challenges of winter without proper attire. With the cold weather looming, we knew it was crucial to ensure that everyone in our community could stay warm and protected. Thanks to the hard work and generosity of our team and Rays the Roof, we were able to make a significant impact, spreading warmth and compassion to those who needed it most. This initiative embodies our commitment to serving others and making a positive difference in the lives of those around us. We're proud to be part of the Subaru Love Promise Community Commitment and grateful for the opportunity to contribute to the well-being of our community. For The Love Of Animals - Pamela M.
As an animal welfare organization, the Humane Society of Alamance County and its volunteers have worked to better the lives of animals in Alamance County since 1971. Our ability to help those in need has greatly been dependent on the support of our local community. FLOW Subaru of Burlington has provided the HSAC with unwavering support since 2015. The company is clearly dedicated to designing the very best in pet friendly vehicles and understands the importance of true community partnerships. The funds raised and donated through their Share the Love campaigns have helped our organization provide aid to countless animals through our rescue efforts, our pet food pantry and our medical assist program. We are so very grateful to have the support of such an animal loving company that truly understands the importance of pets and what they bring into our lives.
Congratulations Bryan Campbell! - Brooke S.
Congratulations to our very own Bryan Campbell for winning the Subaru Love Promise® Moment Monthly Recognition! Bryan went above and beyond to care for a customer, Mrs. Foster, who had recently lost her husband. Bryan and the rest of our Subaru Burlington family wanted to show our support and love for her during this difficult time. Bryan and the rest of the team presented Mrs. Foster with flowers, a signed card, and a gift basket with snacks and drinks for her road trip to her husbands memorial. We hope we were able to bring a little bit of light to her life during this difficult time. Thank you for all your hard work Bryan!
Thank you to the Humane Society of Alamance County - Brooke S.

Saving Calamari - Pamela M.
In June of this year, through our participation in the Subaru Share the Love Event, FLOW Subaru of Burlington contributed another $5,100 to our rescue and this donation couldn't have come at a better time... The first week of July, we received a call from a Good Samaritan who had spotted an injured stray cat in the shopping center directly across from the FLOW Subaru location. We quickly dispatched our TNR team to the area and found a cat in urgent need of medical help. "Calamari" wore a collar that had slipped over her front, right leg and, as a result of the pressure, the collar had embedded into her flesh. Her wound was so severe that we knew she required immediate medical help in order to survive so we quickly put a plan in place to trap her and bring her to safety. Luckily, the lure of delicious cat food proved too great for her to ignore; we were able to humanely trap her within a couple of hours and rush her to the vet! Since her rescue four months ago, Calamari has had to visit the vet regularly. She's endured multiple surgeries, has tolerated splints and has been quite vocal about how much she dislikes physical therapy. The road to recovery for this sweet girl is long but she continues to get better every day, and, for that, we are grateful! As a local non-profit, animal welfare organization, the Humane Society of Alamance County is able to continue helping community animals through public support. FLOW Subaru's donation to our rescue made it possible for us to provide Calamari with the excellent level of veterinary care she required. Had we not received those funds in June that helped us immediately cover her costs, we likely would've had to consider euthanizing Calamari instead. The support of our community partners, like FLOW Subaru of Burlington, is invaluable to us and integral to the survival of our organization. We are so thankful for the Subaru company's love of pets that supports animal welfare groups like ours and aims to make the world a better place for them, one animal at a time. THANK YOU, FLOW SUBARU OF BURLINGTON! Calamari thanks you as well!
Our customers love the Earth - Lee M.
Every week we see a couple of customers who live in one of our local retirement communities bring in their wrappers, lids and coffee pods to recycle. Some weeks we can tell they brought in their neighbors contributions as well. We are happy to be at a dealership that cares.
Helping with children - C F.
When I was in service waiting for my vehicle, I had my 3 year old with me (who is not very patient). A very nice gentleman came over and offered my child to pick out a toy from his bag. This was so very helpful with the wait time and kept my child busy while we were waiting. I really appreciate the time he took. I will definitely be coming back to Flow Subaru of Burlington!!
Sharing the love at Woofstock! - Pamela M.
As the Humane Society of Alamance County continues to learn how to navigate through these unprecedented times, we have found comfort in knowing that our partnership with Flow Subaru of Burlington and their support of our mission has continued to flourish. Our animal welfare organization is funded solely by public donations and does not receive any state or federal contributions. Therefore, we heavily rely on our ability to hold fundraising events in order to maintain the programs our rescue offers to our community and its animals in need. Our annual Woofstock Festival is our biggest fundraiser of the year and with the help of our wonderful event sponsors, vendors and attendees, the donations generated there in the past have helped sustain our programs, especially our Rescue and Foster program. In 2020, we were forced to place the festival on hold due to Covid-19, which truly hurt our rescue and our ability to help as many animals as possible. This year however, with proper safety precautions in place (and on a much smaller scale), we were luckily able to host Woofstock and get back into the swing of things! Flow Subaru of Burlington offered to sponsor the event once again and attended the Festival! They set up a booth and brought a Subaru for guests to view and attract attention. They awarded visitors with fantastic Bark Box raffle prizes every hour (which people absolutely loved)! It was wonderful to have one of our leading community partners at the event itself, representing not only themselves but their year-long support of our organization's mission. Having them attend our first big fundraiser in almost two years meant the world to us and made us all the more grateful for their support. Thank you, Flow Subaru of Burlington!
Did Flow Subaru Burlington go above and beyond, provide exceptional service, or support causes that are important to you? We'd love to hear about it.
